Drive-thru
A drive-thru that wins seconds and drops order errors.
Kiosk order-points in the lane, mobile pre-order from the phone, and instant POS sync. Built for operators who have to win a few seconds on every transaction.
Pijnpunten
Waar je elke dag tijd verliest.
Order accuracy drops at high volume
Voice capture at a speaker board in a noisy environment leads to avoidable mistakes. Every corrected order adds 60 to 90 seconds to the lane queue.
Single-lane bottleneck at peak
One person serving a full drive-thru lane during lunch creates a build-up that backs onto the street within ten minutes. The next customer sees the line and drives past.
No upsell moment before the order is locked
A customer who ordered in the app before arriving has already decided what they want. Mobile pre-order opens a natural upsell moment, before the customer commits to a choice.
Solution
How Upvendo solves it.
Kiosk order-points in the lane
A touchscreen kiosk mounted ahead of the speaker board lets customers order themselves before they reach the speaker. Less voice capture, shorter lane time.
Mobile pre-order from the phone
Customers order in the app, get a lane code and drive straight to the pick-up window. The POS receives the order before the car arrives.
Instant POS routing for every channel
Every order, lane kiosk, voice or mobile, lands in the same POS queue with a consistent ticket format. No manual re-entry, no noise between channels.
Required choices before the ticket prints
Sauce, size, extras, every required choice is enforced before the order is finalized. The kitchen gets clean tickets, every time.
Common questions
Frequently asked
Can we run two order-points in a dual-lane setup?
Yes. Each kiosk order-point is configured separately. A dual-lane site maps to two kiosk order-points, each routed to the right lane tag in the POS.
Does mobile pre-order work with Square?
Yes. Mobile pre-orders land in Square the same way kiosk orders do. The customer gets a reference number to show at the window.
What about digital menu boards?
Upvendo handles the ordering flow; integration with digital menu boards is on the roadmap. Most operators run their menu boards off their existing POS display output.
Is this available outside the US?
Drive-thru configuration is currently available on upvendo.com. European QSR operators should check the QSR page for what is available on their ccTLD.
